As you enter into warmer days and navigate Summer vacation schedules, we recognize that while your table space might vary week to week, the conversations you are nurturing with your family and friends around those tables are still very important to you.

They are important to us, too!!

So, to help you keep those conversations going throughout the summer, we are offering The Traveling Table, a summer, on-the-go series that can go anywhere you go.

The Traveling Table is jam packed with stories, scripture, and fun ways to talk together with family and friends about the ways we are experiencing God. Our theme for this series is Fruits of the Spirit. Galatians 5:22-23 says, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.” We will spend the summer considering how we might nurture each of these fruits in our own lives and how we might live them out each day.

This is a 10-reflection series. Nine of the reflections focus on the nine fruits of the spirit, and the final reflection invites us to bring everything together and Reimagine the world as we think it could be ― as we think God hopes it might one day be.

You can plan to read one reflection a week or one a day, it is up to you!

We created The Traveling Table to be as flexible as you need it to be, so The Traveling Table is available as an eBook series!

There is a version perfect for our adult, and more mature readers, as well as a fun eBook for the kids! These eBooks can be used together, with the email series, or independently of one another.

The Traveling Table eBook includes the 10 reflections, accompanied by three journaling prompts per reflection. You will also receive a set of prompts for Table Talk Cards. These prompts offer short reflections or conversation starters, and they are designed so that they could be used independently or alongside the reflections.

The Traveling Table Kids eBook includes 10 kid reflections. The stories and table talk sections in each eBook correlate to one another, so that you can read through the series together or independently. The kids' eBook includes coloring pages, as well as prompts for kids Table Talk Cards.

We hope this series will make it easy for the conversations to flow around your camper table, your pool-side table, or your picnic blanket table, just as easily as they happen around your dining table at home!

It is our hope that whether you are reading through these reflections by yourself, with your family, or with others, that this series offers you opportunities to consider new ways of understanding God’s deep love for us, and encourages you to experience the fullness of God again and again through your conversations with others!

For Love’s Sake is a series designed to guide you through the weeks leading up to Easter, seeking God’s love for us in reflection, conversation, and community. You can follow along with us through our weekly Table Talk, or you can download our free For Love's Sake eBooks for even more resources that include additional reflections for the Holy Week (Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday, Easter, and the week following), journaling/discussion prompts, table talk cards, and coloring pages for the kiddos!
