As it was made known on that first Easter Sunday, our God is one who knows our suffering. Who, too, has experienced the forsakenness of the cross. Who does not leave us to dwell in the tomb alone, but enters into our suffering with us—when we a What does it look like when someone comes in the name of the Lord? Are we prepared to recognize it? It is a different kind of kingdom, with a different kind of King.��Jesus’ triumphal entry wasn’t a spectacle of power, but a procession of Jesus showed us how to open our eyes, hearts and minds to the signs of Christ’s kingdom. When healing seems impossible, we find new ways to move forward.
